Energy comes from doing the will of God - not from resting from work, but from doing the work we're meant to do. When we do what we're gifted to do we get energized. When we do what we're not gifted to do or are called to do, we lose energy. When we engage our whole heart, mind and body, we get energized. When we're occupied doing something our heart and mind are not interested in, we get fatigued. We're not meant to do more than we're meant to do. At the end of our life we should be able to say, we ran our race, fought our fight and completed our course. |
Banking, bonds, exchange rates, foreign exchange rates, money growth, inflation, deficit lalalala... School's starting tomorrow and I'm quite excited about the new system in Year 3! I woke up at 10am this morning, went to 7-Eleven and bought today's Straits Times and Business Times...amazing...read up on the latest news and hope to catch up on what's happening in the world beyond myself. I was at Starbucks and TCC...read a chapter of my new textbook called, "The Economics of Money, Banking and Financial Markets". It's quite interesting. I'm glad that I'm acquiring knowledge and getting to know more stuffs, rather than being like a frog in the well. Yeah, really glad. (: Gonna contine my pre-readings before lesson tomorrow man...woooo... Love, Joanne |
It's 6.55pm and I'm seating alone at Starbucks, Marina Sq with a Mocha Frapp on my right...plus some nice and relaxing jazz music playing at the background. I kind of enjoy such moments when I have a few hours by myself. (: These few days I have been thinking about my life, my future and really, the plans God has for me in 2009. My year began in a way which I didn't expect it to be, however after elevating my thoughts to where God thinks...I kind of have a fine grasp over my life now. Age is catching up and life seems more complicated than it used to be. There are many issues in life which we have to be independant about as we grow up. Yet, there are also issues in life whereby we can't live without being God-dependant. We just have to root out the little pride that's in us and trust God wholeheartedly. Things will get into place. 2009 is going to be a significant year for me. Yesterday, I had a powerful time with God during 41st Day rehearsal. Pastor Lia brought all of us into a "henderson-liked" moment with our God. I encountered God. It has been a long time since I last felt like yesterday. Beholding the glory of God...seeing Him face to face...wow. It is our Pastors who made us to be who we are today. Without them, there's no us. I want to enjoy every single bit of my life this very year! Making the right decisions... Smiling and living life to the fullest day after day... Being confident about myself... Loving the people around me... Living out my calling... Having faith... Do extremely well for my studies... Be an independant thinker in life... Growing my connect group... Taking schools... Serving and loving my Pastors beyond myself... Growing Zone F with Pst Lia and Dom... Growing CCH with Mae Ann... Being involved in church... and so on... Lastly, SMILE because to those who believe, all things are possible! I'm loving life! Yes, I am. Hee hee. And...finally to the last point, I am going to play bowling in 45 minutes time!!!! Come on...3 Strikes!!! Turkey!!! Love, Joanne |
